Jade Erickson began dancing at the age of three and competitively since the age of six at Dance Dynamics Studio. She has studied many styles of dance throughout her career including jazz, tap, ballet, acro, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theater. She has also been an assistant dance instructor for many years at the studio.
Jade has completed several ADAPT exams in jazz, tap, and ballet. She has been a demonstrator for 2 years at the Acrobatic Arts workshops, and took part in the Aerial and Back Handspring training. In addition, she has also completed level 8 of the Acrobatic Arts program. Jade has travelled to multiple out of town competitions, as well as local ones. At these competitions, she has received numerous awards and scholarships including the “Junior All-Around Bowl” in 2008, and 1st Runner-Up of the Junior VIP All Star Performer National Title at Celebration Talent Wisconsin Dells in 2011. Along with these achievements, Jade was voted “Dancer of the Year” in 2014.
While being a student and teacher at Dance Dynamics Studio, Jade is also a student at St. Ignatius High School. During her time there, she has taken part in two musicals “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, and “We Will Rock You” as a dancer/ensemble.
Recently Jade completed the Rhythm Works Integrative Assistant Dance Instructor Certification providing her with tools to teach children with learning challenges.
Jade is looking forward to sharing her passion and knowledge of dance with the students at Dance Dynamics.
