Jade Erickson began dancing at the age of three and competitively since the age of six at Dance Dynamics Studio. She has studied many styles of dance throughout her career including jazz, tap, ballet, acro, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theatre. Before becoming an instructor Jade was a staff assistant for four years.

Jade has completed several ADAPT exams in jazz, tap, and ballet. She was a demonstrator for 2 years at the Acrobatic Arts workshops, and took part in the Aerial and Back Handspring training. In addition, she has also completed level 8 of the Acrobatic Arts program.

Jade competed in many competitions locally and out of town, At these competitions, she has received numerous awards and scholarships including the “Junior All-Around Bowl” in 200;  1st Runner-Up of the Junior at VIP; and All Star Performer National Title at Celebration Talent Wisconsin Dells in 2011. Along with these achievements, Jade was voted “Dancer of the Year” in 2014.

Jade has completed the Rhythm Works Integrative Assistant Dance Instructor Certification providing her with tools to teach children with learning challenges. She also has valid First Aid and CPR for Children and has attended Mental Health First Aid training.  Jade continues to enhance her dance training through online teacher courses with CLI.

While being a student and teacher at Dance Dynamics Studio she is entering her third year of studies at Lakehead University and has recently opened her own business.

Jade is looking forward to sharing her passion and knowledge of dance with the students at Dance Dynamics.
